Before we go further, let me make another point. Most storage shed builders in PA primarily sell sheds and garages to resellers in other states. There are only a select few who specialize in selling portable storage sheds and detached garages direct to customers all around. These small businesses who specialize in direct sales might be the ones to consider since they put most of their energies into selling sheds direct and work hard to offer quality customer support. They also have many options in regards to the type of storage shed or garage one purchases.
Since your home serves as collateral for the loan or line of credit, lenders consider these loans to be less risky and charge lower interest rates than they do on personal loans. So your monthly payment could be lower than it would with a personal loan.
If you don’t have a nice neighbor getting rid of their old fencing check on Craig’s List or at your nearest Habit ReStore. If you can’t score used pickets you can buy them or substitute plywood for the shelves. Bought a 10x16 from T.S. about 10 years ago, happy with it. It was the largest footprint I could get without needing a permit. I bought the gambrel barn style and built my own loft in it, the cost of the loft option was ridiculous, and I built mine with 2x10 joists and 5/8 plywood so I could put heavy stuff up there. It is on a dirt pad I leveled and put some pea gravel down on, the bottom is galv. channel. Never gone out of level. I have this thing loaded very very heavy, and zero issues.
This gable roof garden shed has plenty of room for a riding mower, and even tall trellises.
Purchased a play set last year and basketball goal this year from Rec Unlimited. Super happy with both products and the service for both. Showed up on the scheduled date and knocked out installation for both products on time and without leaving a big mess behind. Definitely recommend this company.

Firewood... I really, really, really like this. Now, if I can figure out where to put the fire tools on it, this would be PERFECT!
Our shed is constructed with 2×4 roof rafters spaced 16″ o.c. with a 1/2″ plywood sheathing. The low quality shed uses the same 2×3 as are used on its walls, spaced 24″ o.c. with 1/2″ OSB on top. Over time, the roof of the low quality shed is much more likely to sag, especially in a high-moisture environment.
We have been providing personalized service to our customers for the past 10 years. We will meet with you to help you decided what kind of shed you need, and offer competitive prices. We work with customers throughout the area, including Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties.
Another reason to use a plastic shed is the price tag. Many plastic sheds can be purchased for less than vinyl-sided wood sheds, especially if you eliminate the floor. So if you don’t expect to use your shed for many years or pass it down to your children, a plastic shed may be a good option.
