Want to have an organized shed? Use the wooden shelves to place smaller yard items on to keep them away from the large shovels and rakes. Having no shelf installed makes space for patio umbrellas, ladder, and other large yard supplies. The price is a steal too, so this makes our top 10 slot! Storage Sheds – Many homes in South Florida feature carports instead of garages, which means storage sheds are a must. Keep your lawnmower, bikes, tools, children’s toys, and equipment in one of our sturdy, watertight sheds. Unlike the DIY sheds you can purchase at home improvement stores, our sheds will stand up to the elements for years to come, protecting your belongings and giving you peace of mind.
Bought this 5 sided shed for the Shack. I gave up a little square footage, but it fit perfectly in the corner of the yard without making the yard unusable like a rectangular would have. Paid a little over $2k after shipping and comes with prefabbed walls on pallets. Assemble it, roof it, and you're done.
I have had both a tuff shed and another kit I bought at a local lumber store. I think both were equal in quality. The kit was much cheaper because I built it...the kit was just a lumber package. I can't remember how much they were because it was so long ago, but as far as quality I felt they were comparable. I had the kit shed for 15 years and it was in just as good of shape as the day it was built. Maybe you can find a used one on craigslist and save some money. You would just need a flatbed trailer and some RDP peeps to help you load and unload it.

If you have a wood or metal shed, the damp from the ground will slowly seep into the wood or onto the metal. This leads to rot and rust that will in time destroy your shed. The more it rains or snows, the more unstable the soil is likely to become, leaving your shed unsafe and insecure.
This company is FANTASTIC to work with. I worked with Michael Zook (Owner) who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process, even responding to communications on the weekend. We just took delivery of our 12x14' Cedar Pavilion yesterday and Elmer, the delivery driver, was sensational. We had a challenging delivery as we are remodeling our home and he had to back a huge trailer up our driveway alongside of a dumpster, and yet he did it enthusiastically and was able to set the long pallet with our pavilion in the ideal location on our driveway so that it would not block access to parking our cars in our garage. Cannot say enough good things about this company. Service and value are outstanding!
I don’t like giving the “It Depends.” answer but it definitely applies here. Is it a shed “kit” you would buy at Home Depot? Are you buying through a shed builder that provides all materials and build it onsite? Are you buying the materials and having someone else build it? Or are you buying all the materials and building yourself? If building yourself, do you have all the tools required or do you need to buy/rent some? On top of that, you’re looking type of foundation, size, materials used, etc.
This project is a decorative firewood storage shed. If you like the design and you are willing to invest more money into this project, this might be an interesting alternative. Check the step by step plans and diagrams at HowToSpecialist. MORE >>
Shed manufacturers are also getting better at making the resin which now does not fade easily. The plastic on a good shed is also quite thick, which insulates your items from the weather outside.
If you’ve got a backyard pool (lucky you!) it’s likely that you also need somewhere to store pool equipment and toys. Rather than have these items cluttering up the garage, keep them organized and conveniently on-hand in a poolside shed. Whether you’re an amateur creating in your spare time or a professional in need of additional work space, a private artist’s studio may be just what you need to get those creative juices flowing.

The next project is also from MyOutdoorPlans, com. I really think this wood shed project stands out through it simplicity and super large storage capacity. As you can see in the image, this shed is very basic but I like the concept and the main idea is to keep the costs down. This shed would be ideal if you want to store large logs, such as for drying them a few years before splitting them to firewood. MORE >>
